COMMUTING<\/h3>\r\n

\r\n The Bunkyo Campus is conveniently located to the nearest station of Myogadani Station (Marunouchi Line), just 3 minutes away on foot. Myogadani Station also has great access to the three major downtown districts of Tokyo, being able to reach Ikebukuro in 5 minutes, and both Shibuya and Shinjuku within 25 minutes by train. I often go to Ikebukuro for shopping.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n

CLASSES<\/h3>\r\n

\r\n I study accounting. I was always interested in numbers since I was small, and I hope to find a job where I can put to use my knowledge of accounting in the future. The Japanese language class is also one of my favorites since the professor is very kind and the class gets along well.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n

LUNCH<\/h3>\r\n

\r\n I eat lunch at the cafeteria or buy something at the nearby convenience store. The menus at the Bunkyo Campus cafeteria are great since they\u2019re low priced and there are lots to choose from. My favorite is the shrimp tempura udon. Udon is a Japanese noodle made from flour. The noodle is quite thick and it\u2019s a popular dish in Japan.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

FREE TIME<\/h3>\r\n

\r\n Taking photos has become a hobby since coming to Japan, so I take some photos of the campus. There are new and historic buildings in the Bunkyo Campus, while there\u2019s also some nature, so it\u2019s a relaxing environment. More than half of the international students at Takushoku University are from China, so there\u2019s a high population of Chinese students. There\u2019s a club called the Chinese International Student Club that helps Chinese students to get together, and I regularly take part.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n

PART TIME WORK<\/h3>\r\n

\r\n I made both Japanese and Chinese friends through my part-time job. At first I was nervous, but my older colleagues were kind and helped me out, so it\u2019s comfortable working there. It\u2019s stimulating and there\u2019s always something new when I talk to people from other schools. I think it\u2019s important to be curious and willingly put yourself different environments, such as by trying to make friends outside of the university and not just from school.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n
