There are 1 year courses for the \u201cspring admission\u201d (April) and \u201cfall admission\u201d (September), with both offering options for further extending study periods according to university or career choices. Classes are held at the historic International Education Hall, providing an ideal learning environment for international students with classrooms fully equipped with academic facilities, CALL classrooms, study rooms with computers, etc.<\/p>\r\n      <p class=\"text pmSS\">In addition to Japanese and English classes categorized according to language levels, examination preparations for elective courses such as mathematics for sciences\/ humanities courses, physics, chemistry, and biology are provided. Furthermore, students are able to extensively learn about Japan through courses of Japanese current affairs, modern society, geography, history, etc.<\/p>\r\n      <p class=\"text pmM\">Class teachers offer appropriate guidance with university and career paths according to homerooms. Then students are allocated to the purpose-oriented courses of \u201cEnrolling in Takushoku University,\u201d \u201cEnrolling in national and public universities,\u201d \u201cEnrolling in the Graduate Schools,\u201d \u201cPreparation for Japanese Language Aptitude Test,\u201d etc. and support is provided until completion of the courses. The Undergraduate Faculties of Takushoku University (1 year enrollment, total of 5 faculties) and the Takushoku University Hokkaido College also have an entry examination system for recommended students. Students who complete required subject courses and receive approval for completion of courses will be given a course completion certificate.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n      <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n      <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n        <h3>Advance to Takushoku University<\/h3>\r\n        <p class=\"text\">\r\n          In the Intensive Japanese Language Program, the following recommendation program and transfer examinations are provided for students who wish to transfer to the Takushoku University Undergraduate Faculties and Takushoku University Hokkaido College. (there is partial exemption of admission fees)\r\n        <\/p>\r\n        <ul class=\"normalList\">\r\n          <li>Undergraduate Faculties 1st year student  Those who meet recommendation requirements of the Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Engineering.<\/li>\r\n          <li>Those who meet requirements for transfer as a 3rd year Undergraduate Faculties student<\/li>\r\n          <li>\r\n            <p class=\"pmSS\">Those who are approved to be qualified for transfer as a 3rd year Undergraduate Faculties student\/ possess an academic record for more than 14 years in their home country (graduated from a junior college or a higher educational institution)<\/p>\r\n            <ul class=\"normalList\">\r\n              <li>Transfer of credits (for those approved and certified)<\/li>\r\n              <li>Those with satisfactory attendance rates and course results in the Intensive Japanese Language Program, and also expected to complete the course<\/li>\r\n              <li>Those who pass the written examination and interview<br><span class=\"init\">*Even though a student possesses an academic record for over 14 years in their home country and a university degree, their school credits may not be transferred or the student may not be deemed eligible for transfer if the specialized course in the school of their home country and the specialized course of Takushoku University\u2019s Undergraduate Faculties are different.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <\/ul>\r\n          <\/li>\r\n          <li>Those who meet recommendation requirements for the Department of Agricultural Science and Business\/ Department of Early Childhood Education of Takushoku University Hokkaido College.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ul>\r\n      <\/section>\r\n\r\n      <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n        <h3>Scholarship<\/h3>\r\n        <p class=\"text\">\r\n          Scholarships are given to students selected by the school according to their objectives and conditions for the purpose of aiding academic and student life in Japan.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n        <ul class=\"normalList\">\r\n          <li>Takushoku University Intensive Japanese Language Program Scholarship: 150,000 yen (annual amount) for 10 students<\/li>\r\n          <li>Takayama International Education Foundation Scholarship: 60,000 (monthly amount) for 1-2 students<\/li>\r\n        <\/ul>\r\n      <\/section>\r\n\r\n      <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n        <h3>Student Dormitory<\/h3>\r\n        <p class=\"text pmSS\">Student dormitories for students of the Takushoku University, Graduate Schools, and Intensive Japanese Language Program are available.<\/p>\r\n        <p class=\"titleLabel pmSS\">Takushoku University Bunkyo International Student Dormitory (for female students) 58 rooms<\/p>\r\n        <p class=\"text pmSS\">A dormitory offering a safe and comfortable dormitory life, and conveniently located approximately 10 minutes away on foot from Bunkyo Campus, and approximately 15 minutes from Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line \u201cMyogadani Station.\u201d<\/p>\r\n
