These goals are embodied by the three basic policies below, which are designed to raise the quality of education and ensure international competitiveness by providing a framework for producing well-rounded, internationally minded graduates with a high level of specialist expertise.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <section class=\"pmM\" id=\"title01\">\r\n          <h3>Educational policy<\/h3>\r\n          <ul class=\"orangeList\">\r\n            <li>To give students the flexibility of understanding and the depth of receptiveness required to coexist and build mutual trust with all races and ethnicities of the world<\/li>\r\n            <li>To equip students with the insight and decisiveness to calmly and precisely get to the heart of matters and act with conviction amid the rapidly changing conditions faced in Japan and abroad<\/li>\r\n            <li>To cultivate enterprising, practically minded individuals equipped with the intellectual and physical capabilities to proactively confront and solve the challenges facing human society<\/li>\r\n          <\/ul>\r\n        <\/section>\r\n\r\n        <h3 class=\"pmS\" id=\"title02\">Three basic principles for the bachelor&#8217;s degree program<\/h3>\r\n        <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n          <h4  class=\"pmS\">1. Diploma policy<\/h4>\r\n          <p class=\"text pmSS\">\r\n            Takushoku University aims to produce well-rounded, internationally minded graduates with a high level of expertise that reflects the educational goals and founding philosophy of the University. Bachelor\u2019s degrees are awarded to students who have acquired the required qualifications and competence as listed below and met the diploma policy specified by the relevant department.\r\n          <\/p>\r\n          <ul class=\"orangeList\">\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">International mindset<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                The students have a full understanding of societies of diverse peoples around the world and their own community with the flexibility to respect others. They can work together with people around the world and people in their home country to discover problems and overcome challenges.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">Expertise<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                The students acquire basic knowledge in their areas of specialization to discover and resolve problems by using their knowledge in the actual field of study.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">Humanity<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                The students set their own goals and proactively take action to realize their goals in consideration of the feelings and ideas of others. Students can accurately express their feelings and ideas and exchange opinions.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n          <\/ul>\r\n        <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n        <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n          <h4  class=\"pmS\">2. Curriculum policy<\/h4>\r\n          <p class=\"text pmSS\">\r\n            Takushoku University organizes a sequential and systematic curriculum to ensure that students acquire the knowledge, skills, and competence based on the three qualities of well-rounded, internationally minded graduates with a high level of specialist expertise according to the diploma policy.\r\n          <\/p>\r\n          <ul class=\"numOrangeList\">\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">Curricula<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                The curricula are systematically organized as cultural education subjects, specialized subjects, and other subjects by accordingly combining lectures, practices, and self learning. The curricula also incorporate initial year education for adapting to the University, acquiring learning skills, and developing study plans, along with career education. In addition, students will improve communication and other skills while at the University.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">Education method<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                Depending on the subject, project-based learning (PBL) and active learning are actively incorporated to proactively promote student participation.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n              <p class=\"textOrange text bold\">Evaluation<\/p>\r\n              <p class=\"text\">\r\n                The evaluation criteria for each subject are defined in the lecture guidelines. In addition, the curricula shall constantly be refined through a combination of evaluations of student classes and the educational and research performance of the faculty.\r\n              <\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n          <\/ul>\r\n        <\/section>\r\n\r\n        <section class=\"pmM\">\r\n          <h4  class=\"pmS\">3. Admission policy<\/h4>\r\n          <p class=\"text pmSS\">\r\n            Takushoku University aims to foster global talent (Takushoku talent) who are equipped with resilient human skills and a global perspective. Graduates are willing to work with people from home and abroad with the goal of discovering and proactively resolving challenges. To nurture such individuals, Takushoku University accepts individuals with strong personalities who have a sense of purpose and the motivation to study at the University.
